We would like to thank you so much for your help, guidance and professionalism through the recent sale of our 3 rental properties in Westdale. Kim Bertling took the time to explain the current market conditions, made informed recommendations of listing price for each property, and laid out a plan for how she would market, show and handle negotiations for our properties. She demonstrated keen respect for both the properties and our relationship with our tenants throughout the process. One of the most impressive things was her handling of the very sensitive issue of showing the properties, all of which had McMaster students in them while they were listed. We did not want just anyone entering the property and disturbing the students and she gracefully accepted the responsibility of showing the house yourself, to ensure the students felt safe and secure. I’m confident that this was a very special situation and that real estate agents wouldn’t normally conduct all showings themselves, but we very much appreciated your willingness to do this for us and – more importantly – for our student tenants! The great thing was that the houses were only listed for a maximum of 10 days and all sold at considerably above asking price (and we felt that the asking price itself was very fair!). You carefully explained the process of dealing with multiple offers (of which we had many, due to your great marketing of the properties and follow up with potential buyers), and helped maximize our selling price. We can’t say enough how much we enjoyed working with Kim Bertling, and in particular the outcome of the sales of our properties!
